Unity 24th September 2006

Another classic night at Unity. Nick took the stage for a short acoustic set, but as usual here's all you lovely people who came to see us. Nick's in there somewhere along with The Freelance Priests. What can I say? "The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band" meets "Black Sabbath". What do you get? The Superpenetraitors. Totally crazy heavy metal. These guys get worse or better depending on your point of view, whatever point that is you can't deny they're a load of fun. Anton Fontana (lead guitar) tells me that the anarchy and mayhem will get worse as their set develops into more piss taking heavy metal. I can't wait.

Following The Superpenetraitors, Jonas John and Nick came on stage as "The Freelance Priests". Hmmmmm smells like jazz. Nice. Pics in first montage.

Here at Unity Towers excitement has been growing, the anticipation palpable, we've been chomping at the bit to hear this next band. So the Unity team are very proud to bring to you Kasper Velts all the way from darkest Kettering. I was told by their roadie/best mate/groupie that they are the best band in Kettering. I don't know if it's anything to do with the fact their lead singer bares an uncanny resemblance to Frodo Baggins or what, but they have the power. The power to entertain. Great songs, loads of energy. WE salute you Frodo er Kasper. Hopefully this will not be their last visit to the Boro.

Don't forget next week at Unity The Muddy Tour hits ground zero for a guaranteed great night. James (Evil) Chadwick, Circus, Opaque and Point of Origin. You dare not miss this one
