What's on this week

greetings party people and chill out bods:)

We here at muddy are getting very excited about the opening weekend of The Glass Onion on the 16th September!

Please check out the attached fliers, and tell all your friends to come and check out your community centre:)

Hope everyone is looking forward to the coming bank holiday and that you all have fun what ever you do.

Tuesday

Tuesday night's is time for open mic night at the Comet (Garton End Road, Dogsthorpe). Entrance is free so turn up with your ears and instruments for a great night.


Wednesday

The Pixie Folke are at Bar Lisboa (24 Lincoln Road) on Wednesday night from 8pm for acoustic jamming and open mic sessions. Entrance is free - just bring your instruments or ears.

Thursday

Unity @ Lisboa, is very pleased to have local band the superpenetraitors back playing, humour shall be rife when they play. We also have a special treat for everyone this week - kasper velts, they are travelling a distance to come and play, we hope to give them a Unity style welcome, should be an amazing night

Friday

At The Brewery Tap this Friday is "all funked up' with Matt Charge, entrance is free.

Saturday

this Saturday sees the return of the very successful Peterborough Punk Club at Lisboa (24 Lincoln road). the line up this time is The Pain, Gizmo, Barnyard, and Masturbator. entrance is £3.50 on the door or £3 with a flyer. doors open at 10pm and close at 5am. under 18's are allowed.

Round the corner in the Brewery Tap, Dj Ottis presents "Cookin" - bringing his unique style and of good tunes from 9pm till late. Entrance is free.

Sunday

brings a return of Deep Roots at Lisboa, for funky, chilled out grooves, and sofa sessions, perfect end to the weekend. entrance is free. doors open sometime in the late afternoon and if there is good weather there is usually a barbecue on the go in the garden:)

Unity acoustic follows on from deep roots at Lisboa, bringing the finest acoustic acts for your listening pleasure.

if hip hop is your thing, then check out Throwdown at the met lounge. not sure what the entrance or start times are, but it is on:)

and finally...

do a sun dance this weekend!
